PlayOJO Affiliate Program Review: EGO Tiers, Payouts and Rules
PlayOJO affiliates join EGO (EGamingOnline): 20% to 40% revenue share by FTDs, no negative carryover per brand, euro payouts from $100. Checked October 2026.
Disclosure Some programmes on this site may pay us when publishers sign up through our links. It never changes what we report about their terms. Editorial policy
There is no stand-alone PlayOJO affiliate program: PlayOJO is promoted through EGO (EGamingOnline.com), the affiliate programme for all the SkillOnNet brands, and it is open to new partners in October 2026. PlayOJO deals use a sliding revenue share of 20% to 40% based on how many first-time depositors you send each month, negative balances are not carried over at brand level, and commission is paid in euros by the 10th of the month once you pass $100.
This review draws on EGO’s deals page, FAQ and full terms, plus PlayOJO’s own footer, all read on 8 October 2026. PlayOJO is a fiat casino in regulated markets rather than a crypto brand, so it sits on this site for affiliates who run mixed portfolios. We may be paid by some programmes listed on this site.
Who operates PlayOJO and under which licence
On the international playojo.com site (as shown to a New Zealand visitor), the footer names Skill On Net Limited of Ta’ Xbiex, Malta, and quotes Malta Gaming Authority licence number MGA/CRP/171/2009/01, issued on 1 August 2018. The MGA’s own register lists the authorisation as MGA/CRP/171/2009, without the /01 suffix. Canadian visitors see a separate Ontario site, which states that SkillOnNet Ltd operates it under an Internet gaming licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and an agreement with iGaming Ontario. The brand runs other local versions too: EGO describes PlayUZU as the Spanish and Mexican edition of PlayOJO.
To verify, search the company or licence number on the MGA’s licensee register and match the company name to the footer you see. Different markets show different licensing text, so check the version your audience will actually land on.
The affiliate agreement is with EGamingOnline.com, a trade name used by all SkillOnNet brands. EGO’s terms name Royal EGO Marketing Ltd, headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, as the developer of the tracking technology.
Verdict for affiliates
EGO is one of the more affiliate-friendly contracts we have read. Brands are paid separately, negatives do not roll forward, and the deals page publishes every tier. The trade-offs are a rate tied to monthly FTD volume, strict market-by-market rules, and a programme that only makes sense if your audience lives where PlayOJO is licensed. For crypto-only traffic, the programmes in our bitcoin casino affiliate programs directory fit better.
PlayOJO commission tiers
| First-time depositors in the month | Revenue share |
|---|---|
| 0 to 5 | 20% |
| 6 to 10 | 25% |
| 11 to 25 | 30% |
| 25 to 50 (as published) | 35% |
| 51 or more | 40% |
The same chart applies to PlayOJO Bingo, PlayUZU and the other EGO casinos listed on the deals page, and EGO notes that all PlayOJO deals follow it. CPA and hybrid plans exist, but there is no published CPA figure: you arrange them with the affiliate manager assigned to your account.
One clause in the terms sits oddly with the chart. Section 2.3 says the default revenue share is 15%, with new partners offered 20% when they start. In practice the 20% starting tier matches the deals page, but ask your manager to confirm in writing which plan your tracker is on before the first month closes.
How net revenue is defined
EGO calculates net revenue as player deposits and wagers recorded on your tracker minus redeems, where redeems include withdrawals, money pending in player accounts and any deposits reversed for fraud, error or chargebacks. In regulated markets it also deducts local gaming taxes and licensing costs for branded and live casino or poker games. Chargeback fees during the 12-business-day processing period can be deducted from the month’s commission too.
Worked example
Imagine a Canadian casino blog that sends 14 first-time depositors to PlayOJO in May. Fourteen falls in the 11 to 25 band, so the month pays 30%. If those players and earlier referrals produce EUR 4,700 of net revenue, you earn EUR 1,410. In June only 4 new depositors arrive and net revenue is EUR 3,900; the rate drops to 20% and you earn EUR 780, even though older players kept betting. Steady acquisition matters more here than lifetime value.
No negative carryover, brand by brand
Section 10.4 of the terms states that EGO does not carry over negative balances for any of its casino brands. Brands are also separated for payment, so a loss on DrueckGlueck does not cancel a profit on PlayOJO. The only exception: if you run several usernames on one brand, a negative on one of them offsets the others within that brand, though the no-carryover rule still applies to the brand as a whole.
For a site with a few high-stakes players, that structure is valuable. A jackpot winner can wipe out one month on one brand, and the next month starts clean.
Payments
- Paid monthly, by the 10th, for the previous month.
- Minimum payment: $100. Below that, earnings roll into the next month.
- Bank wire minimum: $500.
- Currency: all payments are made in euros.
- Disputes over statistics or commission must be raised within 30 calendar days.
- Earnings not collected within 12 months are forfeited.
- Returned payments are charged the cost of the return and of the new payment.
Stats are refreshed every 24 hours through EGO’s own tracking system, and a monthly newsletter announces new brands and promotions. If you promote several EGO brands, commissions are added together into a single payment.
Where you can and cannot send traffic
The terms bar affiliates and their sub-affiliates from actively targeting customers in the USA, Cyprus, Israel, Turkey and France. EGO also publishes separate market requirements for Germany, the UK, Spain, Sweden, Ontario, Denmark and Greece, which you must accept for each market you promote. Regulated markets bring their own advertising rules, and in several of them the regulator can act against the affiliate directly.
Australian traffic needs extra care: ACMA says the 2026 reform bans activity-based affiliate commissions from 1 January 2027. Our compliance notes for casino webmasters go through market checks in more detail.
Setting up an EGO account for PlayOJO
Registration happens on the EGO homepage and takes a few minutes; joining is free. Once approved, you create trackers (unique tracking links) inside the affiliate interface and attach each one to a payment plan, so a single account can run revenue share on one site and a negotiated CPA on another. EGO recommends keeping all your websites under one account rather than opening several, and you can create a separate tracker per site to see which one converts.
Banners, text links, logos and landing pages sit in the Marketing Tools section. Each approved site also receives one marketing code per brand, and that code may only be used on the site EGO approved; traffic from an unapproved site risks being invalidated. Questions go to the account manager assigned to you, or to [email protected].
Two practical tips from reading the contract. First, keep proof of where each tracker is placed, since EGO’s calculations are final once the 30-day dispute window closes. Second, agree any special rate in writing and note its start date, because clause 10.8 cancels a special deal if no first-time depositor arrives within two months.
Rules that can cost you commission
| Rule | Clause | Consequence |
|---|---|---|
| No brand names in your domains | 11.1 to 11.2 | You must transfer the domain to EGO; continued use leads to termination |
| No PPC bidding on brand terms | 11.6 | Account blocked, no payment for that traffic |
| No sites built only to push marketing codes | 11.6 | Payments may be withheld |
| Special deals need activity | 10.8 | No first-time depositor within two months voids the deal |
| FTD caps on test deals | 10.9 | Depositors above the cap need not be paid |
| Self-play and family deposits | 12.4 | Treated as fraud |
| Termination | 12.1 | At will, by either party, for any reason |
Clause 1.16 adds a confidentiality rule worth knowing: affiliates may not publicise the commission they receive or pass part of it to players. Cashback-sharing sites are therefore excluded.
Is PlayOJO worth promoting?
PlayOJO’s selling points for players are easy to explain on a page: no wagering requirements on bonuses or free spins, money back on every bet through OJOplus, and no minimum or maximum withdrawal amounts according to its own marketing. Those claims convert well with players who distrust bonus terms. The programme works best for sites with established traffic in the UK, Canada or the Nordic and EU markets where SkillOnNet holds licences.
Sister brands widen the options under one login. EGO’s brand page lists casinos for Greece, the UK, Canada, Sweden, Spain, Latin America, Portugal, Brazil and Germany, some with Pay N Play for Sweden, Germany and Finland, so a multi-market site can route each country to the licensed brand that fits it.
It is a poor fit for crypto-only audiences, US traffic or anyone relying on brand-term PPC. If you are building a new site, our guide to becoming a casino affiliate explains how to pick programmes that match your audience, and our review method shows how we weigh contract terms.
Frequently asked questions
Does PlayOJO have its own affiliate program?
PlayOJO is promoted through EGO (EGamingOnline.com), the affiliate programme for all SkillOnNet brands, including PlayOJO Bingo, PlayUZU and DrueckGlueck.
How much does the PlayOJO affiliate program pay?
EGO pays 20% for 0 to 5 first-time depositors a month, rising to 25%, 30%, 35% and 40% for 51 or more. CPA and hybrid deals are agreed with your affiliate manager.
Does EGO have negative carryover?
No. EGO does not carry negative balances over for its casino brands, and each brand is paid separately so a loss on one does not reduce another.
What is the minimum payout for PlayOJO affiliates?
EGO pays monthly by the 10th once you reach $100, or $500 for a bank wire. All payments are made in euros.
Can I bid on PlayOJO in Google Ads?
No. Clause 11.6 of the EGO terms forbids bidding on brand terms for desktop or mobile, and accounts caught doing it are blocked without payment.
Which countries are restricted for EGO affiliates?
You may not actively target players in the USA, Cyprus, Israel, Turkey or France, and markets such as the UK, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Ontario, Denmark and Greece carry extra requirements.
